The live map and the leaderboards

The map

The public map is available at map.geonations.org. It displays the overworld, the Nether, and the spawn hub as chunks generate, plus Region borders and player markers containing the player name, position, and health. Player markers update once per second.

/hide removes the player marker, and /show or /unhide restores it. The setting persists after logout. Region borders remain visible when a player marker is hidden.

In game, /map prints the address. On Java it is clickable. On Bedrock, read it and type it into your browser (see Java + Bedrock).

The leaderboards

Standings live in /leaderboards, or /tops if you like shorter commands. One menu, every board: player kills this week, richest players, active hours (time spent standing still does not count), mob kills this week, deaths this week, and the biggest Region by chunks. The player kill, mob kill and death boards are weekly and reset every Sunday. The wealth, active hours and biggest Region boards do not reset.

While you are online your numbers refresh about once a minute. Players who are logged out are swept back in every 6 hours, and again every time the server boots, so logging out does not keep you off the boards.

The boards pay. Every week closes on Sunday and the prizes are paid once it has closed: the top three on the play-streak board share $1,600 and the leader also takes a netherite upgrade template (a streak has to reach three days to qualify, and the template is once per player — a repeat leader gets $1,400 cash instead), the top three on the mob-kill board share $800, the player leading the kill board gets the Crown next to their name for seven days and carries a standing bounty of up to $7,000 paid by the War Office, and whoever leads the death board is handed a wooden sword.

To place on the play-streak board you need a streak of at least 3 days. Staff do not take prizes. Alts do not stack. A Bedrock account with the same name as a Java account counts as one player for prizes.

The hub also displays the Hall of Nations and politics standings. A line containing --- indicates that no player or Region currently occupies that position.
