Getting started
Last updated 11 September 2026. Report a discrepancy through the GeoNations Discord.
This page covers the starting inventory, random teleport, menus, and teleport timing.
Starting equipment
You start with $500. That is one wild teleport ($50) and your first claimed chunk ($250), with money left over. It is meant to be spent.
On first join you get the starter kit, one time only:
| 1 each | Stone sword, shovel, pickaxe, axe |
| 16 | Bread |
| 32 | Torches |
| 1 | Crafting table |
| 1 | Written book: GeoNations Survival Guide |
The starter kit uses stone tools. It provides enough food, light, and equipment for the first mining trip without replacing normal survival progression.
Lands adds three more items on first join, separately from the kit:
| Golden hoe | Selection tool. Marks two corners so you can claim a rectangle instead of one chunk at a time. |
| Feather | Info tool. Point it at ground and it tells you who owns that claim. |
| Campfire | Your Camp block. Place it in the wilderness and it creates a free temporary claim on the spot. See Camps. |
None of these are precious. They drop when you die like anything else, and you never actually need the hoe: /land [your region name] claim takes the chunk you are standing in, and /lands selection puts you in selection mode with no item at all. Lost the Camp block? The /guide menu has a Camp tile that hands you a replacement, and it only works while you own no camp.
Random teleport
/wild and /rtp are the same command.
| Price | $50 per teleport |
| Cooldown | 5 minutes between teleports |
| Warmup | 10 seconds. Stand still. If you step off the block the leap is cancelled and you are not charged. The $50 leaves your balance only when the teleport fires. In combat the command is locked until the tag ends. |
The destination is selected within a square centered on 0, 0, no farther than 2,400 blocks from the origin and no closer than 240 blocks to spawn. It must be a surface location with sky access between Y60 and Y200. The selection cannot place a player beyond the world border or at an underground lava location.
The $50 charge is taken when the teleport fires, after the 10 second hold. The cooldown is stored in memory and is cleared by a survival server restart. If the command takes the fee without teleporting the player, report the time and username in a ticket.
Menus
/menu | The main menu. Land, money, and the world. Also /gmenu. |
/guide | The command list, one tile per command, click to run it. Also /help, /commands, /camp. |
/wars | The war menu. Also /war. |
/leaderboards | PvP kills this week, wealth, hours, mob kills this week, deaths, biggest region. Also /tops. |
The menus use chest interfaces because they work on Java and Bedrock. Some /guide entries display instructions instead of running a command. The website entry prints an address for Bedrock players, and the death entry explains the corpse timer.
Teleport timing
/wild holds you for 10 seconds. Every normal teleport (/home, /spawn, /tpa) works like this:
| Warmup | 3 seconds. Move or get attacked and it is cancelled. |
| Cooldown | 5 seconds between teleports. |
| Landing | Centred on the block, never into water. |
| After arrival | 4 seconds where you cannot be attacked, and cannot attack. |
The warmup prevents command teleports from being used during an active attack. Arrival protection prevents either side from dealing damage immediately after a teleport. All commands are blocked for 15 seconds after player combat. See Combat.
